About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Cardiac Sonographer / Echo Technologist for a 13-week contract opportunity in Great Falls, Montana. The technologist will perform adult echocardiography studies and provide preliminary diagnostic evaluations while collaborating closely with cardiologists and other healthcare professionals.

The role includes transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, dobutamine stress echocardiograms, and assistance with transesophageal echocardiography procedures.

Responsibilities

• Perform adult transthoracic echocardiograms according to established imaging protocols and clinical standards.

• Perform stress and dobutamine stress echocardiograms and assist with transesophageal echocardiography procedures.

• Obtain high-quality diagnostic images and provide preliminary evaluation of examination findings.

• Communicate significant findings to cardiologists and collaborate on technical requirements for non-standard examinations.

• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and participate in required call and holiday rotations.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 Year of Recent Echocardiography / Cardiac Sonography Experience Required.

• Current, Active Applicable Professional License Required; Montana Practice Requirements Must Be Met Before Start.

• Current BLS/BCLS Certification Required.

• Experience With Adult Transthoracic, Stress, and Dobutamine Stress Echocardiography Required; TEE Assistance Experience Required.

• Ability to Work Monday Friday Day Shifts and Participate in Required Call and Holiday Rotation Required.

This contract opportunity is well suited for an experienced Echo Technologist comfortable performing a broad range of adult cardiac ultrasound studies and participating in an on-call rotation.
