Research Administrator

Virtual Vocations Inc

To support the Schools of Medicine and Nursing, the full-time Research Administrator will perform pre- and post-award management activities, ensuring compliance with university policies and federal regulations while working remotely. Key responsibilities Assist in the development and submission of accurate proposal budgets and compliant proposal materials Review award terms and conditions, initiate account set-up for new projects, and manage award-related communications Act as a liaison between sponsors and investigators, coordinating project close-out and resolving issues as they arise Required qualifications Bachelor's degree required; research or grants education and/or certification preferred Experience with pre and/or post grant awards is essential Completion of required department training within the first six months of hire is mandatory Ability to maintain Research Administration Academy (RAA) certification through continuing education Familiarity with compliance requirements and sponsor regulations is beneficial
