You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and respond to concerns with professionalism. Position Type Part Time Pay Rate $28.50 / Hour Job Schedule DayTimeSat02:00 PM - 10:00 PMSun02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to transit passengers, employees, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate. Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and notification procedures. Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, stations, parking areas, and surrounding perimeters to help to deter unauthorized activity. Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel. Assist with access control, visitor direction, and crowd management during routine operations, service disruptions, and special events. Minimum Requirements Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience. Be at least 21 years of age. Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred. Baton certification is preferred. CPR and First Aid certification are preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
