Job Description As a Security Officer - Critical Facility Clearance Required in Gilbert, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. In this role, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Position Type Full Time Pay Rate $24.38 / Hour Job Schedule DayTime Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Thu 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors by carrying out site‑specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security‑related concerns to the appropriate contacts. Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions at the location. Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials as required by site policies, and assist with visitor processing and/or access control activities in a professional manner. Support security‑related operations at an aero and defense location by observing for restricted area concerns, reporting suspicious behavior, and following post orders and client‑specific guidelines. Minimum Requirements Possess 2+ years of security‑related experience. Possess an active DoD Secret Clearance. Be at least 21 years of age. CPR/First Aid certification is preferred. Customer service experience is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law. Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment. A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
