Echocardiographer

We are seeking an experienced Echocardiographer (Echo Technologist) to perform comprehensive cardiac ultrasound examinations in a fast-paced clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of echocardiography experience , strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy and physiology, and experience performing transthoracic echocardiograms, stress echocardiograms, TEE, Doppler, Strain, and 3D echocardiography. This is a Monday–Friday day shift position with no weekends, holidays, or on‑call responsibilities . Key Responsibilities Perform comprehensive echocardiographic studies, including 2D/M‑Mode, Doppler, Color Flow, Stress Echo, TEE, Strain, and 3D echocardiography . Assist cardiologists during stress echocardiogram and transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE) procedures. Obtain patient histories, prepare and position patients, and ensure comfort and safety during examinations. Recognize and promptly communicate critical or abnormal findings to the supervising cardiologist. Acquire, store, and maintain high-quality digital cardiac images for physician interpretation. Perform bedside echocardiograms as needed and maintain ultrasound equipment, supplies, and work areas. Complete required documentation, billing records, worksheets, and quality improvement activities. Follow infection control, sterile technique, patient safety, and accreditation standards while assisting with staff training as needed. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of echocardiography experience required. High School Diploma or equivalent required. Graduate of a certified Cardiovascular Technology program or accredited Cardiac Sonography/Ultrasonography program. Registered Cardiac Sonographer (RCS) or Registered Diagnostic Cardiac Sonographer (RDCS) certification required. AHA BLS Certification required Strong knowledge of cardiac anatomy, physiology, hemodynamic monitoring, sterile techniques, and echocardiography procedures. Ability to maintain required continuing education and professional competencies. Previous cardiac catheterization laboratory or invasive cardiac procedure experience is preferred.
