What You'll Do

Provide high-quality, patient-centered nursing care in the emergency department
Utilize the nursing process to assess patient needs and implement appropriate interventions
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and interdisciplinary team members
Document clinical information accurately and timely in electronic health records
Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient patient flow
Manage medical equipment and supplies safely and effectively
Adhere to all hospital policies, safety protocols, and standards of care

What You Need

Required:

Valid RN license in Louisiana
BLS certification from the American Heart Association
CPI, ACLS, and PALS certifications
Minimum of 2 years ER or acute care nursing experience
Strong organizational and communication skills

Preferred:

Bachelor's degree in nursing
Certification in a clinical specialty area
