Respiratory TherapistWe are seeking a Respiratory Therapist for our Chicago Southside community hospital. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for providing respiratory care to patients with breathing disorders. You will work closely with medical staff to develop and implement treatment plans to ensure optimal patient outcomes.Duties:Conduct patient assessments to determine appropriate respiratory care plansAdminister respiratory treatments and medications as prescribedMonitor and assess patients' progress and adjust treatments as neededEducate patients on respiratory conditions and self-care techniquesOperate and maintain respiratory therapy equipmentCollaborate with physicians and nurses to provide comprehensive patient careQualifications:Degree in Respiratory Therapy or related fieldCertification or licensure as a Respiratory TherapistExperience in acute care, critical care, or ICU settings preferredKnowledge of respiratory therapy techniques and equipmentAbility to assess vital signs and interpret patient dataStrong understanding of respiratory physiologyExperience in ventilator management is a plusJob Type: Full-time Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per hour Expected hours: 40 per week Benefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceShift:8 hour shiftDay shiftEvening shiftNight shiftExperience:Physiology knowledge: 1 year (Required)Vital signs: 1 year (Required)Ventilator: 1 year (Required)
