The Medical Center within the Phoenix VA Health Care System (PVAHCS) serves as a bustling center for Radiology services in central Arizona. Our Radiology Service ranks among the largest clinical departments, employing over 130 dedicated professionals across nine specialized divisions, which include:

• Staff Radiology

• Vascular and Interventional Radiology Services

• CT Services

• Nuclear Medicine Services

• Ultrasound Services

• Breast Imaging Services

• Diagnostic Radiology

• MRI Services

• Clerical Services

With a team of 24 radiologists already in place, you will join a diverse and dynamic group committed to delivering exceptional care to our Veterans.

Work Schedule:

• Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Compensation and Benefits:

• Competitive Salary : Up to $400,000 annually

• Annual Performance Bonus & Regular Salary Increases

• Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) : Up to $200,000 in student loan repayment*

• Sign-on Bonus : Up to 25% of your annual salary

• Paid Time Off : 50 - 55 days of annual PTO (including 26 days of annual leave, 13 sick days, 11 paid federal holidays, and up to 5 days for CME)

• Retirement : Traditional federal pension (5 years vesting) and federal 401k with up to 5% contribution from the organization

• CME : Potential $1,000/year reimbursement

• Flexible Contract : No Physician Employment Contract and minimal restrictions on additional work

Employment Qualifications:

• Doctor of Medicine or equivalent degree in medicine or osteopathic medicine

• Unrestricted License : One full and unrestricted license from any U.S. state or territory

• U.S. Citizenship : Non-citizens may be considered when qualified citizens are unavailable, in accordance with VA policy

*This position qualifies for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP). Applicants must fulfill specific eligibility criteria and submit an EDRP application within four months of their start date.
