Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans tailored to meet clients' specific needs, including crisis intervention strategies and behavioral support plans.
• Document all clinical interactions and treatment progress in accordance with regulatory standards, ensuring compliance and accuracy in all records.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools and methodologies as prescribed by the clinical team to uphold the highest standards of care.
• Collaborate with various teams and programs to implement positive behavior support strategies, addressing needs proactively and effectively.
• Engage actively in the licensing and accreditation processes, contributing to organizational standards and quality assurance initiatives.
• Serve as a liaison between clients and relevant service systems, state agencies, and community partners, enhancing service delivery and resource accessibility.
• Communicate effectively with all stakeholders, fostering open lines of communication to support the mission of Gotham Enterprises within the community.
• Establish and nurture relationships with local, state, federal, and private organizations to promote services and secure potential partnerships and funding sources.
• Pursue ongoing professional development opportunities, including attending conferences, workshops, and task force meetings to stay abreast of industry advancements.
• Advocate for and embody the organization’s values and philosophy, integrating them into all aspects of counseling and community engagement.
• Perform additional duties as assigned by the Clinic Director, showcasing flexibility and willingness to support organizational goals.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will work primarily with clients experiencing a range of challenges related to emotional health, substance abuse, and developmental disabilities. Your focus will be on fostering recovery and independence by providing individual and group therapy aimed at addressing personal and social barriers to mental wellness.

Qualifications

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.
• Current and active Independent LMHC License in the state of Florida or willingness to obtain licensure in the state, with expenses covered by the employer.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a community health or clinical setting, particularly with diverse populations and varying mental health needs.
• Demonstrated proficiency in crisis intervention techniques and behavioral assessment methodologies.
• Experience collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams and establishing productive partnerships within the community.

Compensation and Benefits
