As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, maintain visitor records, and help support a secure environment for employees, guests, and operations. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and remain visible to help deter incidents. Position Type: Part Time Pay Rate: $17.46 / Hour Job Schedule Thursday: 10:00 PM - 02:30 AM Friday: 10:00 PM - 02:30 AM Saturday: 10:00 PM - 02:30 AM Sunday: 10:00 PM - 02:30 AM What You'll Do Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Monitor and control access to the logistics and distribution location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor entry, and directing authorized personnel in accordance with site procedures. Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency services as directed. Conduct regular and random patrols of entry points, loading areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and report unusual activity. Maintain accurate records of access activity, incidents, inspections, and shift communications in accordance with Allied Universal and site‑specific requirements. Minimum Requirements A Guard Card or license is preferred. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
