We are looking for hard working Concrete Laborers to join our team! This is a full‑time position with pay starting at $20+ an hour . Benefits Performance pay increases Paid vacation and sick time 401(k) with a company match Training and advancement opportunities Paid holidays Position Summary The Concrete Laborer is responsible for supporting the concrete crews in completing various construction tasks. This position plays a key role in ensuring our projects are built on‑time and ahead of schedule! Essential Duties And Responsibilities Perform general construction labor, including job site clean‑up Assist in pouring concrete Move various construction materials, both by hand and utilizing various material transport mechanisms Engage in preparation work to ready worksite for other crew members (form setters, finishers, etc.) to perform defined tasks Operate motorized equipment including power tools, saws, etc. Monitor processes, materials, and/or surroundings Perform functions according to company and OSHA safety guidelines Work with the concrete crew on and around concrete forms assisting with concrete pour & finish Work with buckets and pump truck to place concrete Clean, inspect and perform routine maintenance of equipment and tools Load and unload materials, machinery, and tools Clean and prepare sites to eliminate possible hazards Meet production goals from the direction of the site Foreman or Superintendent Adheres to all DCS Contracting safety policies, procedures, and instructions from management Performs other duties as required and assigned Qualifications High school diploma or GED General knowledgeable of OSHA standards and requirements Able to work outside in all weather conditions Willingness to learn and accept direction from field supervision Must be a team player and be willing to help out wherever is needed for the success of the project Safety first mindset, MUST stop work if something is unsafe Reliable transportation and work schedule flexibility Ability to get the job done with minimal supervision MUST be reliable and dependable Must have reliable transportation to and from work shift Must be able to do physical labor and other strenuous physical tasks Safety Sensitive Position Must be willing and able to drive within a 60+ mile radius from DCS's office to and from assigned job site.
