Assists students with tutoring activities; rate per hour dependent upon education level. Required Education
Associate degree/Bachelor's degree/Master's degree; placement test may be required. Required Experience
Experience working with students with learning differences. Preferred Education
Bachelor's degree Preferred Experience
Tutoring or teaching experience. Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Guide students in writing activities across the curriculum. Perform other duties as assigned. Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Ability to treat all persons with respect, dignity and justice, without discrimination based upon age, sex, race, color, religion, national origin, disability, veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation or gender identity; ability to exercise the highest professional and ethical standards in the use of College time and resources and observe the stated policies and procedures of the College. Must be able to communicate verbally and in writing with students, staff, faculty and administrators. Special Instructions to Applicants
This position is designated as a security sensitive position and requires a satisfactory criminal history background check. Males between the ages of 18 through 25 must be properly registered with the Selective Service System to be eligible for employment.
