Help us deliver solutions that ensure Life Is On everywhere, for everyone and at every moment.What do you get to do in this position?Deployment of tools/material for Quality Fundamentals Team member for problem solving regarding internal and external customer concerns utilizing tools including 8D, Kaizen, Six Sigma... all driving to understanding Root Cause - implementing corrective and preventative actions and driving continuous improvement.Works with the Quality Engineer on the review, development, and implementation of PFMEA, process control plans and poka-yoke & Jidoka opportunities.Interfaces heavily with Technical Antennas, manufacturing hourly and salaried support personnel, and external corporate engineering, quality, and supplier quality resources.Supports new product introductions, supplier development activities relating to Columbia components, and is a key contributor to those overall successes.Benchmark with other Schneider entities, align, and deploy projects to utilize digital technology in the process robustness.Review the implementation and efficiency of Quality Controls such as Poka Yokes and Jidokas.Support capability studies and Perform Gage R&R Studies.Provide tooling and process recommendations to optimize product and process inspections.Deployment of the Quality Fundamentals at Production.Training & Capability Building Conduct training sessions for operators, leads, and supervisors on: Stop Work PY validation (golden samples / red rabbits) Ok 1st Part execution Check?Do?Check Non?Conformance Management Rework processes Layered Process Audits (LPA) Auditing, Monitoring & Sustainment Perform and facilitate Layered Process Audits (LPAs) to validate process conformance. Support the Quality Fundamentals Self?Assessment and prepare improvement plans. Conduct regular walkthroughs ("Gemba") to identify abnormalities, gaps to standards, and behavioral adherence.This job might be for you if you have:Undergraduate degree/Higher education (Mechanical, Industrial, Electrical, Electronic)Experience within manufacturing Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalentExperience with 8D problem solving methodology, tool utilization (ie. 5Why, fishbone (cause and effect), etc)Six Sigma knowledge, experience, certification highly desiredDemonstrated analytical skills with data, problem resolution, project managementExcellent skills in leadership, communication both verbal and written, and attention to detailLet us learn about you!
