Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments to evaluate patients' unique histories, experiences, and needs.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans using evidence-based therapeutic interventions that align with each patient’s cultural background and personal goals.
• Provide various therapeutic services, including individual, family, and group therapy sessions, to promote resilience, coping strategies, and emotional healing.
• Collaborate closely with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other allied professionals to ensure holistic, coordinated care for clients.
• Deliver crisis intervention services and immediate support during urgent mental health situations, ensuring that clients receive timely assistance.
• Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, appropriate treatment options, and available community resources to encourage comprehensive support.
• Maintain thorough, accurate, and confidential documentation of patient sessions and treatment progress, complying with legal and ethical standards.
• Actively engage in team meetings, case conferences, and cultural competency training to continuously enhance our service delivery.
• Stay updated with current research, best practices, and cultural relevance in mental health therapy to improve client outcomes and refine therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse clientele, including individuals from multicultural backgrounds. The ability to connect and communicate effectively with clients from varied ethnicities, cultures, and identities is paramount. Qualifications

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Oregon.
• Proficiency in understanding mental health disorders, employing evidence-based treatment approaches, and practicing cultural competence during therapy sessions.
• Strong crisis intervention skills, demonstrating calmness and effectiveness in high-pressure situations.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, fostering rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Experience with EHR systems and computer applications to manage patient records efficiently.
• Commitment to upholding professional boundaries, ethical guidelines, and confidentiality principles.
• Ability to work collaboratively as a part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team.
