Staff or Senior Consultant

Position Overview SC&H’s Contract Compliance Audit Services (CCAS) Practice needs a Staff or Senior Consultant based in our Hunt Valley, MD office. This hybrid position requires in-office presence 2 days per week. The team completes over 1,000 audits annually for Fortune 500 and other clients, delivering savings and recovery results within 60 days of an audit. Services include enhanced governance, verification of supplier charge accuracy, and contract effectiveness that mitigates risk and improves profitability. Work You'll Do Work with clients to understand contract risks and audit objectives. Assist with supplier selection for audits. Create and maintain positive client relationships. Provide status updates in partnership with the team. Conduct stakeholder interviews. Request and review supplier compliance documentation. Collect non‑compliance feedback from suppliers. Create supplier audit reports under management guidance. Deliver audit reports presenting facts to aid client decision-making. Assist in supplier negotiations to obtain refunds, recommend contract changes, implement process improvements, and provide benchmarking in partnership with management. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in business or related field. Motivation to obtain certifications (e.g., CPA, CIA, CFE). 2+ years of professional work experience. Experience with Excel or PowerBI (preferred). Exceptional integrity, values, principles, and work ethic. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Ability to understand and evaluate complex business processes. Verbal communication and business writing skills. Excellent project management skills. Team player with capacity to work independently. Must provide own transportation to SC&H offices and client sites. Location Hunt Valley, MD office only. Compensation & Benefits Expected annual base salary $65,000‑75,000. Salary offers are based on candidate’s skills, performance, responsibilities, prior experience, education, certifications, and market considerations.
