IT Intern

The IT Intern is part of our IT department, which resides on the Support Services team and reports to the IT Support Manager. As our IT Intern, you will help end users be successful, secure, and productive using the technology assets provided to them by CIS. This internship is temporary, working up to 29 hours per week. There is an expectation of a 12-month commitment to this role, and the Intern must be available for the full duration of the internship.This role requires on-site work from our Clifton Park office.What You'll Do:Provide outstanding customer service to all end usersEnsure security best practices are central to decision makingTroublesh o ot hardware, software, and technology issuesMaintain log and/or list of required repairs and maintenanceCategorize and track IT inventory stockLoad and configure all required software including office applications, e -mail, a nti- v irus, and internet programsPerform other duties as required including lifting objects of up to 50 lb s .Other tasks and responsibilities as assignedREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:Enrollment or study in Information Technology, or past experience support IT teamsBe familiar with common PC and Mac hardware and software packagesExcellent interpersonal skills and professional demeanorMust be authorized to work in the United StatesAt CIS, we are committed to providing an inclusive environment in which the diverse backgrounds, experiences, and views of our employees, members, and customers are valued and respected.
