This position offers an opportunity to work on a busy medical floor equipped with telemetry monitoring and a focus on patient care for both medical and surgical cases such as spinal cord injuries and low acuity burns.

Key Responsibilities of the Travel Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

• Provide nursing care with a focus on medical and surgical patients including wound care and monitoring telemetry
• Collaborate with healthcare team to care for spinal cord injury patients with stage 4 wounds
• Assist in the care of burn patients in collaboration with the burn unit
• Maintain patient care standards and participate in improving quality care

Requirements of the Travel Registered Nurse - Med/Surg

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
• BLS certification
• Preferred: Experience with spinal cord injury and ACLS certification
