We are looking for a beauty industry expert who can turn product science, artistry and technical knowledge into education that helps people confidently demonstrate, recommend and sell cosmetics and skincare.

The Director of Global Product Education & Training will lead how SeneGence products are taught, demonstrated and brought to life for our global network of independent Distributors and their customers. This role requires deep, hands-on knowledge of cosmetics and skincare, professional makeup artistry, and experience educating a relationship-based or direct-selling sales field.

This is not simply a training or content role. The Director will serve as a product and beauty authority, working closely with Product Marketing, R&D, Field Development, Marketing, Ecommerce and Legal/Compliance to translate ingredients, formulations, product benefits, application techniques and approved claims into compelling, technically accurate education that drives product confidence, adoption and sales.

The ideal candidate is equally comfortable reviewing technical product information with R&D, demonstrating makeup application on camera, teaching skincare concepts, training a room of sales leaders, and translating that expertise into education a Distributor can confidently duplicate with a customer.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Own the global product education and training strategy for cosmetics, skincare, new product launches, core products, seasonal collections and limited-edition offerings.

• Serve as a subject matter expert in makeup artistry, cosmetics, skincare, ingredients, product application and consumer product education.

• Develop and deliver engaging product education for independent Distributors through live events, virtual training, recorded education, certification programs and field-facing tools.

• Teach professional makeup application techniques, product selection, color and complexion concepts, skincare routines, layering and appropriate product usage.

• Translate technical product and ingredient information into clear, compelling education, including how products interact with and respond to different skin types, conditions and consumer needs.

• Partner with R&D and Product Marketing to review and develop technical product sheets, ingredient education, product benefits, usage guidance, FAQs, launch materials and other product education resources.

• Provide the voice of the educator, artist and field seller during product development and renovation, helping identify the questions, demonstrations, benefits and product stories that will matter to Distributors and consumers.

• Translate approved product claims and technical information into compliant, easy-to-understand language that Distributors can confidently and consistently use when educating customers.

• Partner with Field Development to identify product knowledge and selling skill gaps and create education that strengthens Distributor confidence, product demonstration and customer conversion.

• Develop education and demonstration strategies that connect product knowledge to selling behaviors, including product recommendation, regimen building, cross-selling and customer consultation.

• Serve as an engaging on-camera product educator and brand representative for product launches, demonstrations, training videos, livestreams, social content and other educational programming.

• Partner with Marketing, Social, Creative and Ecommerce to translate product expertise into compelling digital and social-first education, including short-form and long-form video.

• Collaborate with Legal/Compliance to ensure product education, demonstrations and field-facing materials remain consistent with approved claims and compliant product positioning.

• Use field feedback, sales performance, engagement data and market trends to continuously improve product education and training.

WHAT YOU BRING

• Significant professional experience within the cosmetics, skincare or beauty industry, with strong technical knowledge of beauty products, ingredients, application and consumer education.

• Professional makeup artistry experience and demonstrated expertise applying, demonstrating and teaching color cosmetics.

• Experience supporting, training or educating independent sales representatives, Distributors, Consultants or similar field sales organizations within a direct-selling, social-selling or relationship-based sales model.

• Strong understanding of skincare, including skin types, common skin concerns, product categories, ingredients, routines and how skin may respond to different cosmetic and skincare products.

• Experience developing product education from technical product information, ingredient documentation, claims support or R&D materials.

• Demonstrated ability to translate complex product science and technical information into language that is accurate, compelling and easy for nontechnical audiences to understand and use.

• Exceptional presentation, facilitation and on-camera skills, with experience delivering live, virtual and recorded product education.

• Ability to connect product knowledge and artistry to commercial outcomes, including product adoption, customer consultation, demonstration and sales.

• Experience partnering cross-functionally with Product Development/R&D, Product Marketing, Field Sales, Marketing, Ecommerce, Creative and Legal/Compliance.

• Experience creating or contributing to digital and social product education across platforms such as Instagram, TikTok and YouTube.

• Strong communication, project management and organizational skills with the ability to support multiple products, launches and global audiences.

HIGHLY PREFERRED

• Experience within a beauty-focused direct-selling, social selling, or network-marketing organization.

• Licensed or professionally trained MUA (makeup artist), cosmetologist, esthetician or comparable professional beauty credential.

• Experience developing education for an independent Distributor or Consultant sales field.

• Experience supporting global beauty markets and adapting product education for different audiences and cultures.

• Experience working directly with cosmetic or skincare R&D teams, formulators or product developers.

WORK LOCATION

The primary work location for this position is our Sapulpa, Oklahoma media studio. Because this role regularly leads product demonstrations, video production, live education and collaborative work with internal teams, regular on-site presence is an important component of the position.
