What You'll Do
As a Parts Counter Specialist, you'll play a critical role in keeping our service department running smoothly while delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities
Assist customers, technicians, and service advisors with parts requests
Provide accurate pricing, quotes, and product information over the phone and in person
Process special orders and emergency requests quickly and efficiently
Pull, tag, stage, and track parts for delivery and repair orders
Monitor inventory levels, backorders, and stock organization
Process retail sales transactions and invoices
Manage technician tool check-in/check-out procedures
Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts department
Participate in ongoing product and manufacturer training
Support teammates and contribute to a positive workplace culture
What We're Looking For
- Valid Illinois Driver's License
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Excellent organization and attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and stay positive in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or GED required
- Automotive parts experience is preferred, but not required
- A willingness to learn, grow, and be part of a team
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and move throughout the workday
- Occasional lifting of up to 50 pounds
- Comfortable using computers, phones, and inventory systems
- Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
