Sr Principal Software Product Owner (Device Control) (Onsite)

Job Overview Position: Senior Principal Software Product Owner – Device Control (on‑site, Richardson, TX) Company: Collins Aerospace, a division of RTX Role Type: Onsite, U.S. Citizen required (Top Secret security clearance required) What You Will Do You will promote a culture of predictable execution intertwined with fun and collaboration where the success of the entire program team is the number one priority. You will act as Product Owner for the Device Control team, focusing on requirements decomposition, Cameo modeling, software development and troubleshooting within a DevSecOps Pipeline in a Cloud environment. You will work with Chief Engineers, Scrum Masters, and Software Engineers to develop Mission Systems applications, collaborate with cross‑functional teams and stakeholders on a large multi‑location program, and mentor interns and engineers at all levels. What You Will Learn Opportunity to grow knowledge within the Strategic Nuclear Deterrence domains, gain niche skills in military radio control and data integration, and lead initiatives within a developmental environment. Qualifications – Must Have Typical requirement: STEM degree with a minimum of 10 years relevant experience, or advanced degree with minimum 7 years, or in absence of a degree 14 years of experience. U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government‑issued Top Secret security clearance. Experience as a Product Owner following Agile / Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Experience with military radio control, status and data integration. Experience with microservice architectures and software development. Preferred Qualifications Active and transferable U.S. government‑issued security clearance. Experience with Agile SDLC. Experience with UML, SysML, MBSE, and CAMEO modeling tools.
