This facility is seeking anEmergency Medicine Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.

Details & requirements for this opportunity:

• Annual volume: 45,000
• Physician shift times: 48 hours coverage. 12 hour shifts.
• Advanced Practice coverage: 24 hours
• Back up specialties available: To be determined
• Electronic Medical Record: Meditech
• Certifications required: Active Florida license, Board certification, Drug Enforcement Administration (DEA). Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS).

Facility Location
Sanford is located in the central region of Florida and used to be home to various Indian tribes who inhabited the shores of Lake Monroe. Orange Groves and agriculture dominated Sanfords economy until the early 1940s when it was later deemed cheaper to cultivate in southern Florida as it was a frost-free zone.
