Analyst, CAMThe Analyst, CAM drives day-to-day asset management across the Build-to-Rent (BTR) community portfolio. This role bridges operational execution and data-driven strategy — owning performance reporting, managing cross-functional partnerships, and implementing process improvements that lift occupancy, NOI, and resident satisfaction. The associate takes on direct accountability for strategy identification and implementation, KPI tracking, forecasting, and portfolio-level coordination while building toward future leadership responsibilities.Asset Performance & ReportingOwn community-level performance reporting: build and maintain dashboards in Power BI/Tableau/Claude tracking occupancy, leasing velocity, maintenance costs, and resident satisfactionProduce weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports for market and corporate leadership, translating data into clear narratives and actionable recommendationsSupport portfolio-level reviews to identify underperforming assets; track corrective action plansAnalyze data and identify trends and key findings in both qualitative and quantitative data sets from various systemsConduct variance analysis on budgets, forecasts, and capital expenditures; surface anomalies and proposed resolutionsMaintain and continuously improve data integrity across Yardi, Salesforce, and all reporting portalsSupport community-specific asset management strategies to maximize occupancy, NOI, and resident retentionServe as the central liaison between corporate Asset Management and on-site teams, marketing, maintenance, leasing, and technologyConduct regular market and community audits to ensure alignment with asset performance goals and brand standardsIdentify operational inefficiencies and lead process improvement initiatives across the portfolioAssist in oversight of special projects related to community enhancements, capital improvements, and operational scalingChampion resident engagement programs and community events to maintain high satisfaction scores and low turnoverAnalyze resident satisfaction data and maintenance trends; recommend proactive measures to improve retentionEvaluate vendor performance using data-driven scorecards; escalate issues as neededAssist in annual budgeting, forecasting, and capital planning exercisesMonitor actuals vs. budget using advanced Excel financial models; flag risks and opportunities earlyIdentify opportunities to design new and/or refine existing analyses and processes to improve the asset management team's productivity, accuracy, and efficiency over timeEducation and/or ExperienceBachelor's degree and strong academic record in Finance, Economics, Quantitative Analytics, or related fields required2+ years analytical support roles, in property management, asset management, or multifamily/BTR operationsDemonstrated familiarity with Single-Family Rental (SFR) or Build-to-Rent communities and new home building processesExperience creating investment and portfolio presentations for Senior leadership a plusStrong experience working with large data sets and performing exploratory data analysis requiredTechnical SkillsAdvanced proficiency in Power BI or Tableau — ability to build and maintain executive-level dashboardsExperience with Python, R, Capital IQ, John Burns, Salesforce, and Yardi a plusExpert-level Excel: pivot tables, financial modeling, variance analysis, and data visualizationHands-on experience with Yardi and/or RealPage, including reporting and operational modulesWorking knowledge of Salesforce or equivalent CRM for resident and partner relationship trackingHigh comfort adopting and evaluating new technologies; genuine curiosity for tech-enabled workflowsAnalytical & Reporting SkillsStrong ability to synthesize large data sets into concise reports with actionable insightsProven track record building performance dashboards and presenting findings to senior leadershipExperience tracking KPIs including occupancy rates, leasing velocity, NPS, maintenance response times, and NOI driversCore CompetenciesExcellent project management and organizational skills with a strong sense of urgencySuperior written and verbal communication; able to translate complex data into plain business languageProactive self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, independently or collaborativelyDetail-oriented with a focus on execution quality and resident-first customer serviceAdaptable and solution-oriented with a growth mindsetAbility to manage multiple competing priorities and deadlinesStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to maintain confidentialityBenefitsCompetitive base salary with performance-based incentivesHealth, dental, and vision insurancePaid time off and company holidays401(k) with company matchSalary RangeThe salary range for this position is: $67,875.00 - $117,650.00, plus individuals may be eligible for an annual discretionary bonus.
