We are currently seeking a dependable, motivated, and compassionate Dental Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis.The ideal candidate is patient-focused, organized, and enjoys working closely with both patients and team members to create a positive dental experience.SchedulePart-TimeMonday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMTuesday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PMSaturday: 8:00 AM - 3:00 PMEssential Duties & ResponsibilitiesPrepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments before and after patient appointmentsAssist the dentist during examinations and procedures, including fillings, crowns, bridges, extractions, root canals, and other treatmentsTake dental radiographs (X-rays) in accordance with state regulationsSet up and organize instruments, materials, and equipment needed for patient careReview and update patient health histories and clinical recordsEducate patients on oral hygiene, treatment recommendations, and post-operative care instructionsMaintain a clean, organized, and efficient clinical environmentFollow OSHA, HIPAA, CDC, and infection control protocolsStock operatories and monitor clinical supply inventoryProvide exceptional customer service and help ensure a positive patient experienceAssist with additional duties as assigned by the dentist or practice leadershipQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredDental Assistant certification, registration, or licensure as required by state lawCurrent radiography certification preferredCurrent CPR/BLS certification preferredPrevious dental assisting experience preferredStrong communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environmentPositive attitude and commitment to providing excellent patient careWhy Join Mentor Smiles?Supportive and collaborative team environmentModern practice focused on quality patient careOpportunity to work alongside experienced dental professionalsPositive culture that values teamwork, growth, and patient satisfactionIf you're a motivated Dental Assistant looking for a great part-time opportunity with a supportive team, we'd love to hear from you!
