Travel Physical Therapist - $1,802 per week

TNAA TotalMed Allied is seeking a travel Physical Therapist for a travel assignment in Palm Springs, California. Duration: 13 weeks. Shift: 8 hour days. Employment Type: Travel. Compensation: 8 hour shifts, 40 hours per week, tax‑free stipend (amount to be determined). Responsibilities Perform evaluation, development, and execution of a plan of care for a variety of patient populations in the acute care setting. Oversee supervising PTAs and support staff (therapy technicians). Bill within the respective setting, following guidelines and facility policies. Understand state board rules and regulations and maintain compliance. Interface with medical center personnel and physicians to ensure a team‑focused plan of care. Understand and utilize adaptive equipment. Evaluate and create a plan of care, modify as indicated based on patient condition. Use Medical Center computer systems in daily tasks. Provide timely and accurate documentation following state and/or insurance guidelines. Requirements Minimum 6 months of experience as a Physical Therapist (1 year preferred; new graduates encouraged). BLS certification. State‑specific licensure. Physical ability to stand and walk for long periods, bend, lean or stoop without difficulty. Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
