We are seeking a dependable and experienced Warehouse Picker/Packer with cherry picker experience to join our team in Olathe, KS. Work Hours: Monday – Friday, 8:00 am – 5:00 pm
Position Summary:
As a Warehouse Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for picking and packing products accurately based on orders, using a cherry picker to retrieve items from high storage areas. Your attention to detail, safety awareness, and efficiency are key to the success of this role.
Essential Functions / Job Responsibilities:
Operate a cherry picker forklift to access high storage locations.
Pick products accurately from inventory based on order requirements.
Pack and label orders for shipment.
Maintain clean and organized work areas.
Perform inventory checks and report discrepancies.
Follow all warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
Assist with other general warehouse tasks as needed.
Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous warehouse experience required.
Must have cherry picker forklift experience.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
Reliable transportation and consistent attendance.
Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.
Skills Required:
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain preferred.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Good communication and time-management skills.
Familiarity with warehouse inventory systems is a plus.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires frequent lifting, bending, and use of warehouse equipment, including operating a cherry picker. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions.
Internal and External Interaction:
This position requires regular interaction with warehouse staff and supervisors to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
