Summary The Associate Director, Strategy will develop and implement strategic initiatives aligned to client objectives. Key to this role is the ability to collaborate between the client, internal teams, and external partners in order to effectively strategize and interpret key cultural, consumer, and category signals required to design holistic media plans that deliver on client objectives. Build sound strategic frameworks that ladder up to client business goals. Provide excellent client service by being responsive, accountable, and detail-oriented. Bring your track record of data-centric thinking to every integrated client brief, outlining creative and media requirements and objectives. Own consumer insights and inspire tactical representations of strong, clear media strategies. Identify opportunities for cross‑platform deals when appropriate. Serve as the bridge between strong conceptual thinking and data‑driven, analytical approaches to problem‑solving. Effectively motivate, lead, and train the team to maximize shared objectives. Lead team utilization of Omni, leveraging our people‑based marketing platform to drive targeted audience activation, develop creative channel‑planning ideas, analyze digital content inventory, and contribute to overall marketing success. Apply strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities, deriving actionable insights from data. Demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, collaborating effectively with cross‑functional teams and building relationships with external partners. Proficiency in media planning and buying tools and platforms. Strong understanding of project management methodologies and process‑improvement techniques. Understanding of financial operations, budget management, strategic planning, and media activation. Exceptional narrative skills, demonstrating the ability to craft compelling stories that engage audiences and convey complex ideas clearly. Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of experience in media operations, preferably in an agency or media organization. Strong knowledge of media planning, buying, and optimization across various channels. Experience in retail, e‑commerce, or entertainment sectors. Relevant post‑secondary education, training, or equivalent experience.
