About the Position

Job Title:  Registered Nurse (RN) | Intermediate Care
Location:  Plattsburgh, NY
Duration:  4 Weeks with Guaranteed Hours
Shift:  Days – 3x12 Hours
Rotation:  No
Work Settings:  Hospital / Intermediate Care Unit
Gross Weekly Pay:  $2,400 to $2,450 per week

Job Description:
Provide direct nursing care to patients in the Intermediate Care Unit, including assessment, medication administration, monitoring vital signs, and coordinating treatment plans. RN will work closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to manage patients requiring a higher level of care than med-surg but not ICU. Maintain accurate charting and ensure quality patient care throughout the shift.

Requirements

• Active RN License – New York State 
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent Intermediate Care / Stepdown / Tele RN experience required
• AHA BLS, AHA ACLS, and NIHSS – all required (NIHSS completed prior to start)
• Experience with patient monitoring and acute care settings
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
