Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) - Contract

Location: Middletown, RI 02842

Contract Duration: 11 Weeks (09/01/2026 11/09/2026)

Pay Rate: $37.00 / hour

Position Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for an 11-week contract assignment at Grand Islander Ctr in Middletown, RI. This position offers a steady schedule with guaranteed weekly hours in a supportive healthcare environment.

Schedule & Shift Details

Shift: Day Shift (Shift 1) | 7:00 AM 3:30 PM (includes a 30-minute meal break)
Weekend Expectation: Required to work every other weekend
Schedule Flexibility: Final shift schedule will be set based on facility needs

Key Responsibilities

Provide high-quality direct patient care in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards.
Monitor, record, and report changes in patient conditions and vital signs.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams, patients, and families.

Requirements

Active, unencumbered LPN license in the state of Rhode Island (or compact state license).
Current BLS/CPR certification.
Ability to pass required background checks and drug screenings.
