Job Description

Job Summary:

Operating Room Nurses are vital healthcare professionals responsible for caring for patients before, during, and after surgical procedures. They ensure patient safety, comfort, and provide vital information about surgical outcomes.

Responsibilities:

Administer patient care throughout surgical procedures, ensuring adherence to safety protocols.
Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to any changes during surgery.
Educate patients and their families about procedure expectations, outcomes, and post-operative care.
Collaborate with surgical teams to prepare operating rooms and ensure all equipment is sterile and functional.
Document patient information, surgical details, and post-op instructions accurately.
Maintain compliance with all safety, hygiene, and regulatory standards within the operating room.
Qualifications:
Hold a valid current CST certification with at least 2 years of OR experience.
Possess NCCT certification or NBSTSA certification if applicable.
Have valid BLS (AHA) certification.
Experience working in general, orthopedic, or neuro surgical settings preferred.
Demonstrate strong intraoperative patient management skills.
Be eligible to work locally or willing to relocate as per facility requirements.
