Maintenance Assistant Per Diem

Join our team at Highland Park Rehabilitation & Healthcare Center as Maintenance Assistant. Per Diem opportunities available. Same Day Pay. $23/hr. Responsibilities Complete physical rounds daily and inspect the facility for issues to be repaired Minor plumbing, electrical, mechanical, and cosmetic repairs of facility and equipment Check maintenance request logbooks and make appropriate corrections Work closely with staff to improve quality of living quarters of residents Perform other duties requested by staff and supervisors within the facility, such as moving furniture, equipment repairs, and problem‑solving issues as needed Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required 1 or more years of general maintenance experience (painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, etc.) required Skilled nursing facility experience preferred Benefits Tuition reimbursement Employee referral bonus Health, vision, and dental benefits 401(k) with match Employee engagement and culture committee Company sponsored life insurance Employee assistance program (EAP) resources The facility provides equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any kind.
