Senior Vice President, Strategic Solutions

ICON seeks a Senior Vice President to lead strategic solutions development and execution for pharmaceutical and biotechnology clients. This executive role involves shaping FSP strategies, advising C-suite stakeholders, overseeing global operations, and driving organizational growth within a remote environment across the US, UK, and Ireland.
Responsibilities
- Lead development and execution of global strategic solutions supporting business growth and client retention
- Partner with executive leadership to define long-term FSP and outsourcing strategies aligned with industry trends
- Serve as trusted advisor to key strategic accounts and engage with client C-suite stakeholders
- Drive cross-functional collaboration across clinical operations, program management, and commercial organizations
- Inspire, develop, and mentor high-performing global teams within a matrix environment
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Healthcare, Business, or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Senior leadership experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, CRO, or healthcare services industry
- Demonstrated success leading strategic initiatives, building client partnerships, and driving growth
- Experience operating within FSP delivery models and leading geographically dispersed teams
- Ability to influence executive stakeholders and navigate complex global organizations
- Deep understanding of clinical development and evolving drug development delivery models
- Strong executive presence with exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
