Job Title: Maintenance Mechanic

Job Description

We are seeking motivated Maintenance Technicians to carry out preventative maintenance on conveyors, gear boxes, motors industrial equipment, and building maintenance. Candidates should have some welding experience or a keen interest in learning.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on conveyors, gear boxes, pumps, motors
• Maintain and repair industrial equipment.
• Carry out building maintenance tasks.
• Conduct welding tasks and learn welding techniques as needed.
• Adjust machines, pumps, and perform rebuilds
• Handle conveyors, electronic run machines, and cutting machines in Further Processing.

Essential Skills

• 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience or completion of a trades certificate or program.
• Experience working on industrial equipment.
• Exposure to electrical, mechanical, and welding tasks.
• Knowledge of PLC systems is a high plus.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Electrical and Mechanical Troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with conveyor systems.
• Willingness to undergo additional training and certification.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Harrisonburg, VA.

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $30.00/hr.
