Alaska Regional Hospital is seeking a travel MRI Tech for a 13-week assignment. The position involves working in the Radiology Department at Alaska Regional Hospital. The shift is from 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday to Thursday. The assignment duration is from July 7, 2026, to October 6, 2026.

Unit Information:

• Number of Beds: approximately 185
• Number of Staff: 2 PRN and 1 tech cross training
• Recruiting for a MRI lead and a tech
• Shift for the Traveler: 7a-530p or 8a-430p, dependent on department needs
• Type of staff:
• Day Shift: 2 Tech weekdays, 1 tech weekends
• Night Shift: No coverage
• Patient Ratios: 1:1
• Type of equipment: GE Signa Artist 1.5T
• EMR: Epic, McKesson PACS

Typical procedures performed on unit(s): MSK, neuro, ortho, prostate, breast, MRCP, Defecography, anesthesia, and pacemakers

Best personality fit: Self starter, self motivated, patient centered and patient focused, follow through with attention to detail, high quality imaging

Required Certifications: ARRT, BLS

Dress Code: Scrub Color/Attire - Grey or Pewter
