We are seeking a Tax Senior Associate to join our growing tax team. This position will support tax preparation, planning, and compliance for individual and business clients across a variety of industries and entity types. The ideal candidate has public accounting experience, strong technical tax knowledge, and the ability to build client relationships while mentoring junior team members.

Key responsibilities include preparing individual, business, and other tax returns for clients across multiple industries and entity types, supporting tax planning, compliance, client communications, and special tax projects, gathering and analyzing client financial information to ensure accurate and timely tax return preparation, evaluating tax situations to identify potential tax savings and appropriate tax strategies, developing tax solutions and communicating recommendations to clients and engagement teams, preparing accounting-related reports and maintaining accurate electronic documentation, collaborating with team members to ensure tax engagements are completed efficiently and accurately, training, mentoring, and supporting the professional development of junior tax staff, participating in training sessions, continuing education, professional development, and networking opportunities, and staying current on changes to tax laws, IRS regulations, and industry practices.

Qualifications include a bachelor's degree in accounting required, two to four years of public accounting tax experience, active CPA license or progress toward CPA licensure preferred; enrolled agent (EA) certification also accepted, strong understanding of tax accounting principles, tax compliance, and IRS regulations, ability to research tax issues, analyze complex situations, and identify practical solutions, strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to interact professionally with clients, ability to work independently while contributing to a collaborative team environment, strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, and commitment to ongoing learning and staying current with changes in tax regulations.
