Our Georgia-Pacific Madison, GA facility is now hiring immediately a qualified candidate who demonstrates strong ownership, reliability, and collaboration in a manufacturing environment to join our team as a Maintenance Millwright. We are offering a $5,000 sign-on bonus. For this role, we anticipate paying $30.00 $36.00 per hour. This role is eligible for variable pay, issued as a monetary bonus or in another form. What You Will Do

• Maintain strict adherence to all safety, environmental, and PPE requirements while working in an industrial manufacturing environment
• Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain equipment for improved reliability and uptime
• Assist co-workers and work effectively in a team environment
• Maintain high housekeeping standards throughout the facility
• Effectively communicate work performed and equipment status, both verbally and in writing
• Help meet or exceed production waste and quality goals through a quality maintenance program
• Read and understand work instructions
• Conduct maintenance in accordance with scheduled maintenance requirements
• Work in hot, humid, cold, and noisy industrial environments
• Demonstrate leadership skills; be a self-starter requiring little or no supervision and show the ability and willingness to train others
• Perform repetitive and physically demanding tasks for extended periods (lifting, walking, climbing, pushing, twisting, stooping), with or without reasonable accommodation

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

• Experience troubleshooting conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and pumps
• Experience installing, aligning, troubleshooting, repairing, and replacing industrial equipment
• Experience with fabrication, welding, and cutting torch
• Experience operating hoisting and lifting devices
• Experience troubleshooting bearings, chains, sprockets, and gearboxes
• Experience with precision alignment of motors and couplings
• Experience reading blueprints, technical drawings, and/or hydraulic schematics

What Will Put You Ahead

• A minimum of 2 years of mechanical and technical training
• A minimum of 6 months experience working in a wood mill environment
