Sourcing Strategy Manager, New Concepts

We are seeking an experienced Sourcing Strategy Manager to join our New Concepts team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing end-to-end sourcing strategies for finished goods — from initial product concept through supplier selection, commercialization, and in-market performance. You will lead the sourcing of third-party manufactured products, owning the full lifecycle from co-manufacturer qualification to supplier portfolio governance. You will play a leading role in driving finished goods innovation — identifying, qualifying, and commercializing new products with co-manufacturers and third-party producers — while building a supplier network that delivers on cost, quality, reliability, and scale. You will have key responsibilities over finished goods SKU ideation and onboarding, co-manufacturer selection and qualification, supplier relationship management, price negotiations and contract management, capacity planning, and end-to-end strategic sourcing — while continuously raising the bar on supplier performance and portfolio governance.In this role, you will help drive the strategy and framework for how the business interacts with its supplier base and have a direct stake in affecting bottom-line profitability.What you will own…Supplier & Network StrategyDevelop and execute sourcing strategies for finished goods categories that align with company growth objectives, innovation priorities, and financial targets — owning the strategy from brief to in-market delivery.Build and optimize a scalable co-manufacturer and third-party supplier network, identifying operational capability gaps, qualifying new partners, and proposing risk mitigation plans before they become supply failures.Apply deep industry knowledge to design and manage supplier segmentation frameworks, Supplier Business Reviews, and performance governance that drive measurable improvements in quality, service, and cost competitiveness across the finished goods portfolio.Innovation & New Product CommercializationPartner closely with Product, Culinary, Operations, FSQA, and Commercial teams to translate new product concepts into sourced, qualified, manufacturable finished goods — bridging culinary vision and operational reality.Own the end-to-end finished goods sourcing process for new product development — from co-manufacturer identification, RFP, and qualification through pilot runs, FSQA sign-off, commercial negotiation, and successful first-ship commercialization.Balance customer experience, operational complexity, food safety requirements, and total cost of ownership when onboarding new finished goods SKUs and co-manufacturing partners.Financial Performance & Cost LeadershipManage individual sourcing contributions to annual business planning and team financial targets.Implement cost optimization initiatives and execute supplier negotiations to improve margins.Lead commercial negotiations and contract management for mid to high value agreements, balancing financial savings with long-term supplier partnerships.Supply Chain Resilience & Risk ManagementExecute proactive risk management and supply continuity strategies across assigned finished goods suppliers and co-manufacturing partners — including dual-sourcing, capacity contingency planning, and exit sequencing.Hold suppliers accountable through established performance metrics, service level agreements, and corrective action programs.Proactively manage and resolve day-to-day operational, quality and supply conflicts as they arise.Process Excellence & Data AnalyticsDrive iterations and continuous improvement of sourcing processes, supplier onboarding frameworks, and strategic sourcing, category management, or supply chain operations — with direct experience sourcing finished goods, managing co-manufacturers, or commercializing new products through third-party manufacturing partners in the food or consumer goods industry.An undergraduate degree, preferably in supply chain, business, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent relevant experience).Fluency in Google Suite applications (especially Google Sheets).A track record of successfully leading large initiatives and sourcing events through strategic sourcing processes.Experience with high value
