Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) — Per Diem AVIR at Post 605 W 7th Street, Post, TX 79356 Job Type Per Diem / PRN Flexible schedule On-site Job Summary AVIR is looking for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide compassionate, high-quality patient care on a per diem basis at our Post, Texas location. The PTA will work under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide individualized treatments designed to improve patients' strength, mobility, balance, coordination, and overall functional independence. Responsibilities Provide physical therapy services under the direction of a licensed Physical Therapist. Perform therapeutic exercises and functional activities according to the established plan of care. Assist patients with gait training, transfers, mobility, balance, and strengthening activities. Monitor and document patient progress and response to treatment. Communicate patient status and concerns to the supervising Physical Therapist and healthcare team. Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation. Follow all applicable facility policies, safety procedures, and professional standards. Provide respectful, patient-centered care. Qualifications Current Texas Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license . Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current CPR/BLS certification, as required. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a healthcare team. Previous rehabilitation or healthcare experience preferred. #J-18808-Ljbffr Avir at Post
