Position: Full-Time Schedule: 72 hours every two weeks, 12-Hour Night Shifts (1900-0730) on varied days, including some holidays and weekends. Location: Scripps Memorial Hospital Encinitas. About the Role As a Registered Nurse in the Float Pool, you'll become an integral part of a highly engaged team providing exceptional patient care in a compassionate and welcoming environment. Responsibilities

• Patient Care: Deliver direct care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient progress towards expected outcomes.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal care and support for patients and their families.
• Leadership: Take primary responsibility for patient care, guiding the Care Team under your supervision to foster a team-oriented approach.

As part of our site-based float pool (SBFP), you will have the chance to float among four major Med/Surg Telemetry units, gaining diverse experience while providing quality care. This position is eligible for New Hire Incentives of $7k. The following are not eligible for hiring incentives:

• Internal candidates
• Rehires that left Scripps less than 3 years ago

In order to remain eligible for your retention incentive the following criteria must be met:

• Must remain in original hired FTE Status and Shift (if specified in offer letter)
• Must remain in original department/specialty
• Must remain in original Job Title
• Transfers to other locations will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis and may result in forfeiting remaining incentive bonus unless specifically noted.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• One (1) year of RN experience.
• Current CA RN License
• Current BLS Healthcare Provider through American Heart Association
• Registered nursing degree from an accredited school of nursing.
• Must be able to speak, read and follow instructions in English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Must be able to demonstrate positive behaviors.

Preferred Qualifications:

• BSN
• One year of acute Medical/Surgical RN experience
• Telemetry or Progressive Care experience
• Other Certifications: CMSRN, NIHHS Stroke Certification, ACLS Epic EHR working experience.
