M&A Analyst I

Represent the firm throughout the entire client engagement with high exposure to clients and senior bankers Support M&A and private capital advisory client work Participate in recruiting initiatives and mentorship programming Contribute to efforts to generate new client engagements Work closely with teammates on active workstreams and upcoming tasks Respond quickly to emails and calls in an on-call role Quality-check personal and teammates' work for accuracy Seek and incorporate feedback during and after key deliverables Articulate thoughts and ideas verbally and in writing Participate in internal and external client/C-suite-facing discussions as directed by the deal team Build professional knowledge through training and mentorship Requirements Ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship Working toward or already possessing a Bachelor's degree from a four-year institution Cumulative GPA of 3.2 or higher Academic performance combined with involvement outside the classroom, such as sports, student-led organizations, or work experience Understanding of Excel formulas, data validation, macros, tables, and conditional formatting Working understanding of connections among the income statement, cash flow statement, and balance sheet Ability to identify trends in data and articulate their impact Motivated by challenge and able to work collaboratively Responsive and able to answer emails and calls quickly!!Oops let's correct this Responsive and able to answer emails and calls quickly Able to clarify deadlines and stay aligned with the team Able to work in an on-call, in-office role and work long hours when required Able to quality-check work for accuracy Able to articulate thoughts and ideas verbally and in writing Relevant skills for a role filled by recent university/college graduates with little or no professional experience In lieu of a degree, a comparable combination of education, job-specific certification(s), and experience, including military service, may be considered No required certifications No required licenses Core Competencies Demonstrates strong analytical skills with a solid understanding of financial statements and data trends, while effectively communicating insights both verbally and in writing. Capable of collaborating in a fast-paced environment and maintaining high-quality standards in deliverables.
