Job Title: Maintenance / Lube Technician
Location: Arlington Heights, IL
Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
Pay Rate: $17–$20 per hour (based on experience)

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and hands-on Maintenance / Lube Technician to support daily machine operations in a fast-paced shop environment. This role is responsible for ensuring proper machine fluid levels, assisting with preventative maintenance, and maintaining overall equipment cleanliness and efficiency. Candidates should be comfortable working in an industrial setting and performing physically active tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and maintain machine water/coolant levels (checked twice daily)
• Top off and maintain machine oil levels on a daily basis
• Clean, drain, and replace old coolant tanks as needed
• Assist maintenance mechanics with light preventative maintenance (PM) tasks
• Help maintain a clean and organized work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications:

• Prior maintenance or mechanical experience required
• Comfortable working in a machine shop/industrial environment
• Ability to perform physically demanding work and get dirty
• Basic mechanical knowledge and willingness to learn
• Strong attention to detail and reliability

Work Environment:

• Industrial/machine shop setting
• Exposure to oils, coolants, and machinery
• Requires standing, walking, lifting, and manual tasks throughout the shift
