Shift Details

Shift: 7 PM - 7 AM

Unit Information

Unit: Labor & Delivery

Location: Thornton, CO

Floor: 3rd

Number of Beds: 14 LDRPs and 2 ORs

Number of Staff: 60

Staffing Ratio:

• Day Shift: 1 charge RN, 2-3 LD RNs, and 2-3 PP RNs
• Night Shift: same as day shift

Patient Ratios: 1:1 to 1:2 maximum for Labor & Delivery and 3:1 for Postpartum, per AWHONN guidelines.

Equipment

• Beacon EMR
• CPN
• Meditech

Qualifications

Essential Skills Required:

• Minimum of 6 months of current CST Labor & Delivery experience
• Active BLS, NBSTA, and DORA Certifications

Preferred Skills:

• LDRP experience
• Postpartum experience

Typical Procedures

• Versions
• C-Sections
• Vaginal assisted deliveries
• D&C procedures
