Financial Data AnalystDallas, TX: WFH 2-3 days/weekWhat You'll Be DoingBuild and maintain financial models and run company/fund/portfolio-level analytics on an ongoing and ad-hoc basisContribute to presentations for senior management and external partiesSynthesize, cleanse, and monitor financial, operating, and portfolio data received from various internal teamsImprove quality and efficiency of reporting to senior managementEvaluate existing portfolio for potential expansion or disposition opportunitiesTrack and evaluate portfolio, capital structure, and financial and operating performance relative to peersCollect, evaluate, and present macroeconomic, real estate sector, industry, and public / private market statistics, trends, and transaction activityCollaborate with the Asset Management Team to create and maintain property and portfolio-level analyticsWork closely with the Accounting, Investments, and Data Analytics teams to ensure data integrity across the entire portfolioHandle special projects and analyses, as assignedCoordinate with Asset Management, Accounting, and investor's finance group in supplying informationSupport creation of key recurring analytical activities, including: Quarterly/annual financial reporting to internal stakeholdersRegular and ad-hoc financial and other reporting to and investor Executive TeamsManage data and reporting for key financial and operational metricsSkills We're Seeking1+ year of experience as a Financial Analyst, or Data Analyst working with financial data – or a similar type of roleMust have strong experience using Excel for financial modelingMust have at least some experience building reports or dashboards with Power BI, Tableau or similar toolsMust have strong communication and presentation skills – and be comfortable presenting financial models and reports to executivesNice To Have ExperienceExperience working in Real Estate and/or Financial ServicesStrong Power BI experience
