What You'll Do

• Perform waived laboratory tests in a remote/mobile setting, including Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Molecular, and Coagulation.
• Receive specimens from phlebotomists and couriers, ensuring proper handling and documentation.
• Operate and maintain laboratory instruments, monitor quality control, and troubleshoot any instrument or computer issues.
• Enter patient demographics and test orders into the laboratory information system accurately.
• Confirm abnormal or difficult results before reporting; escalate issues to supervisors as needed.
• Collect blood samples through venipuncture and capillary methods.
• Ensure compliance with safety guidelines and maintain accurate records of specimen processing and testing.
• Assist in inventory management, including supplies and reagents.
• Perform routine maintenance on lab equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols to handle biological and hazardous materials appropriately.

What You Need

Required:

• Valid laboratory license or certification (preferred)
• Previous laboratory or point of care testing experience
• Ability to perform specimen collection and processing
• Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills

Preferred:

• Experience working in mobile or remote laboratory settings
• Knowledge of laboratory information systems and quality control procedures
• Excellent troubleshooting skills
