Location UCHealth Leprino Building AMC - Aurora, CO Department Nutrition Therapy Work Schedule Full Time, 80.00 hours per pay period (2 weeks) Shift Days Pay $29.54 - $44.31 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Employment Type Onsite; does not offer a hybrid or remote option. Summary Learns safe nutrition therapy for assigned patient populations as a novice dietitian. Responsibilities Under the supervision of a Clinical Dietitian, assess patient's nutritional status and needs, deriving nutrition diagnoses from assessment data. Under the supervision of a Clinical Dietitian, develop interventions and plan of care based on best available evidence and best practices. Under the supervision of a Clinical Dietitian, assess patient understanding and compliance with nutrition interventions and plan of care; monitor progress and evaluate outcomes. Learn about and participate in departmental initiatives related to patient care; participate in education programs for patients, physicians, nurses, other health care team members, departments, and the public. Within the scope of the job, apply critical thinking skills, decisive judgment, and work with minimal supervision; perform effectively in a fast‑paced environment. Requirements Minimum Required Education: Bachelor's in Human Nutrition or related field and completion of an Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics‑approved Dietetic Internship. Required Licensure/Certification: Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist with the Commission on Dietetic Registration within 3 months of hire.
