As a Security Officer Patrol Unit in Midland, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support daily operations through strong communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to all persons at the location by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-related policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual conditions in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, operational areas, and perimeter locations, remaining aware of changing conditions common to an industrial chemical location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and document security-related activities, observations, and/or incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations by maintaining a visible presence and reporting hazards, suspicious behavior, and/or maintenance concerns to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
