• Greet customers warmly and create a welcoming, enjoyable, and satisfying shopping experience.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships by providing fair, friendly, and courteous service throughout their visit.
• Ensure a smooth and efficient checkout process by scanning items, itemizing purchases, and accurately processing payments.
• Accept cash, card, or other forms of payment, and make change as needed.
• Resolve customer questions, concerns, or returns promptly and professionally, ensuring a positive overall experience.
• Balance the cash drawer by accurately counting funds at the beginning and end of each shift.
• Maintain smooth checkout operations by adhering to all store policies and procedures, and report any necessary updates or changes.
• Keep the checkout area clean, organized, and safe by following store safety guidelines and regulations.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless store operations and high-quality customer service.
• Contribute to a positive team environment by willingly taking on additional tasks and responsibilities as needed.

• Must be able to work mandatory sales dates.
• Previous customer service or cashier experience preferred but not required.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly and professional attitude; must be comfortable speaking and interacting with customers.
• Strong attention to detail and well-developed organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a team to ensure smooth store operations.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the sales floor and checkout area.
• Provide quick and accurate information regarding products, promotions, and pricing.

• Ability to handle cash, credit, and other transactions accurately and efficiently.

• Dependable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays and all major sale events.
• Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs as needed.

• Previous retail, cashier, or customer service experience.
• Knowledge of outdoor sports or recreational equipment (skiing, biking, climbing, wakesurfing, soccer, etc.).
• Experience with point-of-sale (POS) systems or cash registers.
• Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience handling customer returns and exchanges.

• • What is the schedule for this job?
  • Full-time (32-40 hours) and part-time (18-29 hours) positions are available, with shifts scheduled Sunday through Saturday, including rotating Saturdays.
    
    
    Availability is required between 8 AM and 10 PM, with Sunday hours from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. Both day and evening shifts typically scheduled in 4-, 6-, or 8-hour blocks (e.g., 9 AM-3 PM, 12 PM-6 PM, 3 PM-9 PM, or 9 AM-5 PM).
    
    
    Weekends, holidays, and availability for all major sales events throughout the year are required.
