Yard ForemanA Yard Foreman oversees and supports manufacturing operations for Clark Pacific and may have duties assigned within but not limited to: Production Lines, Maintenance, Loading, Kitting/Procurement, Woodshop, Batch Plant, Glass Division, Clark Metal Works (CMW) PEP and/or Facilities.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesReasonable accommodation may be provided to enable qualified individuals to perform the essential functions.Exercise a high level of professionalism and confidentiality when working with team members, projects, and receiving proprietary information.Manage multiple projects, deadlines, and teams while driving manufacturing initiatives.Identify team member successes and opportunities for improvement.Coach, mentor, and engage employees in current and future career opportunities.Manage employee schedules, instruct daily workflow, training and applications of safety principles and processes.Read and interpret blueprints and/or work plans, overseeing their distribution to applicable team members as needed.Operate heavy equipment including tractors, forklifts of all sizes, cranes, concrete mixer trucks, water trucks, yard goats, all-terrain vehicles (ATV), company vehicles (as designated), as needed.Lead, implement, and ensure adherence to established safety principles, processes, standard operating procedure (SOP) and job hazard analysis (JHA), for required material, equipment, and property.Prepare and assemble materials for manufacturing according to blueprints by mixing, cutting, bending, welding, gluing, or other specified instructions. Materials may include but are not limited to concrete, sand, additive mixtures, wood materials, rebar, windows, steel, plastic, screws, bulkheads.Oversee and encourage team ownership of clean work areas. Keep debris, recyclables, unkept materials, and hazardous materials in their designated place. Clean up as required and tools utilized may include but are not limited to brooms, shovels, rakes, water, compressed air.Operate machinery, hand/power tools including but not limited to moderate to repetitive use of tape measures, hammers, drills, wire cutters, woodworking equipment, stirrup benders, lathes, Computer Numeric Control (CNC), large metal chop saws, grinders, welding machines, torches, air compressor.Other duties as assigned.Key InterfacesInternalManufacturing and other Clark Pacific Department employeesExternalVendors, Inspectors, and site guestsKey Metrics and DeliverablesPunctuality and Attendance (as applicable by Federal/State laws & regulations)Safety (near misses, injury prevention)Quality (minimize rework)Delivery (on schedule)Cost (budget performance)Skills and AbilitiesExcellent communication skills, both written and verbal, as well as effective listening and engagement with all levels of the organization.Passionate about Clark Pacific’s vision and mission; able to promote, demonstrate, and communicate the mission, values and core competencies of Clark Pacific to others.Ability to participate in development of, lead and conduct required training.Comfortable resolving issues within scope of authority and escalating issues alongside solutions while maintaining positive relationships with team members.Ability to build strong relationships, engage and motivate teams representing diverse backgrounds and viewpoints; exceptionally collaborative.Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and other applicable programs.Work EnvironmentExposure to outside weather conditions including extreme cold and heat, wet, and/or humid state, fumes, wind, airborne particles, and vibration.Visual: fast paced and detail-oriented environment.
