SEASONAL Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department - Full time

We are currently hiring for a full time Registered Nurse (RN) within the Emergency Department department here at Aspen Valley Health. This is a short-term SEASONAL position with an anticipated start date of October 6, 2026 and an expected end date of April 10, 2027. Work Shift: Mids - 12 Hour Compensation Range: $56.15 - $89.83 Night and weekend shift differentials up to $10 per hour! The compensation range listed is an estimate. Final compensation will be determined based on your qualifications including years of experience performing similar work, level of formal education in a relevant field of study, and any professional certifications related to the position.

Requirements: Minimum Qualifications & Requirements

• Associate degree in Nursing (ADN)
• Unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse (RN) in the State of Colorado, or ability to obtain prior to start date
• Basic Life Support (BLS). May be obtained upon hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Emergency Nurses Association - Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC)

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's (BSN) or Master's (MSN) in Nursing preferred.
• 2 years of emergency nursing experience preferred.
• Certified Emergency Nurse certification preferred.
• Certified Pediatric Emergency Nurse certification preferred.
• Experience with EPIC preferred.
• Bilingual in Spanish preferred.

Position Overview:

The Emergency Department RN provides direct patient care for paitent of all ages using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice and with AVH policies, values, and mission. Works in support of the medical staff treatment plan. Educates patients and family around the plan of care and disease management. Actively supports the nursing philosophy by striving for excellence in patient care, professional development, interpersonal relations, time management, and continuous quality improvement.
