Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement individualized physical therapy treatment plans focused on enhancing patient mobility, strength, and overall function.
• Conduct thorough assessments of clients’ physical capabilities, utilizing diagnostic and prognostic testing for muscle, nerve, joint, and functional abilities.
• Supervise and mentor physical therapy assistants to ensure the successful and safe execution of treatment protocols.
• Administer hands-on therapeutic exercises to optimize recovery and facilitate patient engagement in their rehabilitation process.
• Evaluate home environments to provide recommendations that enhance client independence during recovery.
• Document patient progress meticulously and adjust treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations and feedback.
• Communicate effectively with patients, their families, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care efforts.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The diverse patient population you will work with includes individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and chronic musculoskeletal disorders. Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution is required.
• Licensed as a Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee in the state of New Jersey.
• A valid CPR certification is required to ensure patient safety.
• Two (2) years of clinical experience in orthopedic physical therapy practice is essential.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in outpatient orthopedic settings is preferred, with hands-on knowledge of contemporary therapies and modalities.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems to facilitate streamlined documentation and patient tracking.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage patients and collaborate with team members.

Compensation and Benefits

Active Physical Therapy, Inc. offers a competitive salary package ranging from $110,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
