Job Description
The Construction Superintendent will oversee commercial construction projects with large teams of 16 or more members. This role involves daily site visits to ensure safety compliance, quality control, and schedule adherence. The Superintendent will manage subcontractors and coordinate project planning with moderate client interaction, utilizing project management software such as Builder Trend for effective execution.
Responsibilities
- Plan and manage construction projects from start to finish
- Oversee daily site operations ensuring safety and quality standards
- Coordinate schedules to maintain timely project delivery
- Manage subcontractor performance and communication
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and policies
- Facilitate moderate interaction with clients regarding project progress
- Utilize Builder Trend to track project milestones and documentation
Preferred Qualifications
- 5+ years experience in construction management
- Strong knowledge of project management and safety regulations
- Proficiency in blueprint reading
- Proven leadership and team management skills
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Effective time management capabilities
